Canada Post Strike

Update: Canada Post’s operations have resumed and they appreciate the public's patience as they stabilize their operations.

 ------------

Canada Post workers are on strike, and this may cause delays or disruptions in mail delivery services, affecting mail and the delivery of important documents or payments.

How This May Affect You:

  • Delayed Mail: Letters, bills, government benefit cheques, and other mail items may arrive later than usual.
  • Communication Delays: Important updates or notifications sent through the mail may take longer to reach you.

Recommendations:

  1. Switch to Direct Deposit: If possible, arrange for direct deposit of income. Contact your service provider or financial institution for assistance.
  2. Check Online Services: Many government and service organizations offer online portals for accessing documents and updates.
  3. Stay Informed: Monitor news updates or official announcements regarding the strike.
  4. Plan Ahead: If you expect important mail, consider other solutions, such as contacting the sender for other delivery options.

We understand this situation may be inconvenient, and we are here to help as much as possible. If you have concerns or require assistance, please get in touch with your CRW.
