Investing in Safe, Well-Maintained Homes
LMCH is responsible for maintaining and improving more than 3,300 homes across London and Middlesex. Many of our properties were built decades ago and require ongoing investment to ensure they remain safe, reliable, accessible, and comfortable for tenants.
The LMCH Property Investment Tracker provides a snapshot of capital investments made across our portfolio. It highlights major projects completed, underway, and planned at individual properties.
By sharing this information publicly, we aim to provide greater transparency into how investments are made in our communities and how public funding is used to support and preserve affordable housing.
Why These Investments Matter
Capital investments help ensure LMCH homes remain safe, functional, and sustainable for current and future tenants.
For tenants, these projects improve the quality, comfort, and reliability of their homes.
For the City of London, these investments help preserve valuable affordable housing assets and reduce the need for more costly repairs in the future.
For taxpayers, capital investments demonstrate responsible stewardship of public resources by protecting and extending the life of existing housing while improving building performance and efficiency.
