Located at Southdale and Millbank, this growing community is home to more than 500 residents and is undergoing an exciting transformation. When complete, Reimagine Southdale will feature 265 upgraded and new homes — including 98 townhouses and 167 modern apartments.

  • 3 Bedroom: 845–991 sq. ft. *AVAILABLE

  • 4 Bedroom: 1,145–1,147 sq. ft. *AVAILABLE

Rent Range for 3 & 4 bedroom units: $1350 -$1550

 

Basic Eligibility:

The Affordable Housing Program ensures that units are allocated for the benefit of eligible low- and medium-income households. To be eligible for affordable rental housing, a household must meet the following criteria upon occupancy:

  • At least one member of the household is 16 years of age or older and can live independently
  • Every member of the household is either:
    • A Canadian citizen
    • A permanent resident of Canada, or
    • A refugee claimant or Convention refugee
  • Have a household income that is not more than four times the annualized rent (monthly occupancy cost x 4.333 x 12 at initial occupancy)
  • Be eligible/pre-approved for a hydro account

1 Bed: Max Income $49,396
2 Bed: Max Income $59,795
3 Bed: Max Income $70,194
4 Bed: Max Income $80,593

In addition, the household must NOT: 

  • Have arrears with LMCH
  • Have a no-trespass notice issued by LMCH
  • Own a home suitable for year-round occupation
  • Have an enforceable removal order under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act against them
