2021 

Zoning Bylaw Amendment (ZBA) Submission  

The Zoning Bylaw Amendment (ZBA) is a document stating the land we are going to use (the zone).  

 

August 2022  

Submission of Site Plan Application 

The Site Plan Approval is what we are going to do during this phase. It is a detailed document about our current intention and the building we are going to build.  

Includes:  

  • High quality building drawings. 

  • Placement of buildings and overall site design 

  • Landscaping and exterior component  
     

January 2023

Approval to proceed based on 

Positive ZBA + SPA Response from City 

Once we get the approval from the City of London we will then hopefully be able to move forward, based on the response.  

June/July 2023

Anticipated ZBA + SPA Approval (Assumes 

Concurrent) 

The City of London approves ZBA and SPA.  

June/July 2023

Demolition Permit 

Before we can take down a building, we must apply for a demolition permit through the City of London. This gives us the approval to take down the townhouses for phase 1 of the project.   

July 2023

Building Permit  

A building permit is a document that is issued by the City of London. It gives us the approval to construct a new building on this property.  

 

A building permit is necessary when you wish to construct, renovate, demolish or change the use of a building. 

July 2023

Construction Phase 1 

Phase 1 will include the removal of 18 existing townhomes and replacing it with a 6 storey building (Building A). This 6 storey building will include 53 units. It will be a mix of two-, three-, and four-bedroom units. There will be LMCH office space and Community partner space.

August 2023 – August 2024  

Construction Phase 2  

 

 

We currently do not have an anticipated start date for Phase 2 and Phase 3.v 

Phase two will include the demolition of 30 existing townhouse units and constructing “Building B”, a 6-storey building with 57 apartment units.  

Phase three will include demolishing 20 townhouse units to construct "Building C",
a 6-storey building with 57 apartment units.
