Southdale Community Partner Resource Fair

On Friday June 3rd we hosted a Community Resource Fair at our Southdale property! The fair featured booths from just some of our community partners and fire truck tours from the London Fire Department. Some of the community partners we had at the event where: Youth Opportunities Unlimited (Y.O.U.), Middlesex London Health Unit, London Public Library, Boys & Girls Club London, Fanshawe College, Family Centre Westminster, and South London Neighbourhood Resource Centre.

The event was a part of the next stage of LMCH’s Re-Imagine Southdale project - its first-ever redevelopment initiative. During the redevelopment of the site, LMCH will be building a community space where tenants can access community programs. An integral part of this project is tenant input and consultation. This project is a collaborative effort with tenants to create a community that benefits them and addresses their needs.

We had this event to hear from our tenants what community partners they would benefit from having easier access to in their community space. It is important that we hear from our tenants and discover what their needs are.

Thank you to our partners who had booths at the fair. Thank you to everyone who came out to support!

Thank you to our LMCH team for their part in organizing Friday's successful Community Resource Fair at Southdale!
